Bhailey Migiro

I was born on 20th June the year 2003. I grew up in Suneka in Kisii County. I was educated in a school called Township Academy. I learned in that school baby class to class four.

Later, we moved to Western Region in Bungoma County. We settled in Kamukuywa. I went to school in Highgate Academy. I learned in that school for the first and second term only of class five.

When I was in class five, we moved yet again to another town still in Bungoma County called Chwele. I went to a school called International Academy. I was there until I finished class five. Still in Chwele, I was transferred to Busakala Primary where I learnt class six and seven. Finally, I went to Chwele Eagles Academy where I did my national exam in class eight. All this moving around was a struggle to me. The classes were at different stages of learning and did things in different ways. Yet I persevered and did my best. I got 370 marks on my KCPE National exam, which qualified me to apply at Living Hope High School.

When I started baby class, I did not do well. I didn’t understand what the teachers wanted me to do. But later I improved gradually in the upper classes. I got sent home many times for school fees. I had to stay home until my parents got the money. Usually it was a week before I could go back. I was always trying to catch up and learn the new things at the same time. My best subjects were Mathematics, Science and Social studies. The most worst are English and Kiswahili. I had to work extra hard to succeed.

In the future, I would like so much to be an Architect. I would like so much to draw plans for the buildings and road bridges and even roads themselves. Kenya is getting more modern and the old ways of building are unsafe. Buildings collapse and roads don’t last. I want to improve the buildings so they will last a long time.

In primary school, I had been playing soccer. I had never played on my school team but I love to play. Even though I am very small, I am hoping to play on the Living Hope team. I am also an active member in a debate contest. I think debating is an important skill. It helps to improve my language skills and in life, it will help me to make good decisions.

For me to be successful here at Living Hope, I need a sponsor to help support me. Not only financially but to help me become a good Christian person. I will need you to make sure that I am on the right tract and in God’s will. I will try my best to help Living Hope to improve and to be the best I can be. I will never fail you but I promise to make you very proud.

PLEASE BE MY SPONSOR. God will bless you.

Sincerely,

Bhailey Migiro
